Jorge F. Nasr, D.P.M.
DrNasrDr. Jorge Nasr is Cuban born and raised in Miami. He has lived in Miami all of his life, is very familiar with its people and places, and is fluent in English and Spanish. After completing his bachelor's degree at the University of Miami he entered Podiatric Medical School at Barry University. Upon graduating, Dr. Nasr trained in forefoot and rear foot surgery at Universal Medical Center (closed) in Plantation Florida

Dr. Nasr has been in practice since 1992 and is board certified in Podiatric Surgery. His practice, Nasr Foot and Ankle Center, was founded shortly after his residency. He is on staff at the Kendall Regional Medical Center and is the Chief of Podiatry. At Kendall Regional Medical Center, Dr. Nasr is also the Director and Founder of the Podiatric Residency Training Program since 1999. He serves as a member of the Special Care Committee and the Surgical Review Committee. He is also on staff with Surgical Park Surgery Center and Baptist Hospital in Miami. Dr. Nasr is an Adjunct Clinical Professor with Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Nasr has also been featured on media networks such as Telemundo with reports on tendon achilles, cartilage transplant surgery, and new products for foot surgery. Other publications include the Miami Herald Newspaper (El Nuevo Herald) with reports on new advances for flat foot surgery, new techniques, and treatments for foot fungus infections.
